Udi’s debut CD – ‘Through The Glass’ – is a collection of his original compositions for classical guitar, a unique blend of caressing, and even therapeutic sounds in an exceptional fusion of Spanish, Ethnic, Classical, World-Music and a hint of Jazz guitar, wafting over sounds of the four elements of nature (water, wind, fire, and earth).
Udi Glaser’s “Through the Glass” adds a contemporary edge to the classical guitar tradition. By successfully combining field recordings of natural sounds like wind, rain and the rustle of leaves with the sensitive compositions which are beautifully played, Udi creates a new release which is fresh and modern – a welcomed addition to a familiar genre. The CD ends with the moving song, Last goodbye, delightfully sung by Daphne Sarnat’.
